Pat S asked:
We recently ground coffee beans that had remained in our cabinet for possibly two years. When ground, the taste was not good. Is it possible they have lost their flavor?

yes. it is best if they are vacuum sealed
I would be more inclined to believe they were stored improperly and had bugs or mold from being damp
but yes they can go bad
After beans are roasted it is recommended they be used within 3 months.

Probably you need to store beans or ground coffee tightly in the freezer.
