I have some coffee beans, but no grinder. What’s the best way to make coffee with just beans. At best I can probably smash them up a bit by hand. To make the coffee I can boil water on the stovetop, but I don’t have an fancy coffeemakers either.
As you’re wondering: no, I didn’t buy the beans myself. No, I don’t have a blender or other fancy kitchen devices, and I don’t want to buy any for the sake of a handful of free coffee beans.
I have started to drink a lot of coffee lately. Should I worry about my health? What about my teeth? My brain activity? My skin? What are the pros and cons on drinking coffee? What can I use to substitute coffee for energy or something heathier? I’m Seventeen.
How much caffeine is in coffee ice cream? Compared to a cup of coffee? Does it vary by brand of ice cream? Specifically, how much caffeine is in Hagen Das coffee ice cream?
I like Cafe Bustelo and other Latin coffees, and I also tend to like heartier European coffees. I need something that can make good coffee, even if i only want one cup at a time (I live alone). And I’d prefer to spend less than a couple hundred dollars.
I’m looking for ONE place to buy a few different brands of coffee. I want to buy only a 1/2 pound bag of Godiva coffee, 1/2 pound of Jamaican wallenford Blue coffee, and 1/2 pound of starbucks coffee. I can’t seem to find a place that sells more than one brand of coffee.
What is it about the more expensive coffee makers that make your coffee taste better?

i noticed a big difference when i upgraded my coffee maker to a more expensive one. I was wondering other then the price whats the difference that makes the coffee taste. like how it brews or something mechanical in the machine.
yeah thats how i do it to.
When I make coffee using my regular coffee maker, I use one tablespoon ground coffee per two cups of water. I used to work at a gourmet coffee shop and this is how we did it. I just can’t get a nice dark cup of coffee using my french press. What is your water to grounds ratio?
I know you are supposed to use fresh coarse ground coffee.
and water just off a boil.

Here in Austin, TX we have very hard water and my coffee maker has slowed waaaayyyyy down.
I have a Mr. Coffee coffee maker it cost me $59.00 and it was wonderful at first but now it is sloooowww.
It has a feature to let you know when the coffee is done…it beeps 8 times. But now, it beeps even though it’s not even close to being done.
Would it be better if I would use distilled water?
